I have over thirty years of experience in anatomic pathology and neuropathology. I am well versed in clinical neurology and neuroradiology. Particularly, in regards to central nervous system trauma, including spinal cord trauma. I am also well versed in the clinical, biochemical and pathology of neurodegenerative disorders. I have seventeen years of experience in forensic pathology. including the coroner and medical examiner systems. I was initially trained at Los Angeles County Coroner's Department. Finally, I am knowledgeable in the clinical and pathophysiologic aspects of S.I.D.S.

I have been the medical director for a large community hospital laboratory for 16 years and have practiced anatomic, clinical and forensic pathology for 31 years. I have read over 150,000 surgical and biopsy specimens and have performed more than 2000 autopsies in my career. I have been very active in hospital medical staff affairs having served as both chief of staff and director of the hospitalwide quality assurance committee for over 6 years. My areas of expertise include autopsy pathology, uropathology, gastrointestinal pathology and clinical chemistry.
