Additional Information: Extensive experience in sleep medicine; currently in the full time practice of pediatric and adult sleep medicine. Prior full time academic appointments at Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Special interest and expertise in the characterization, evaluation and management of excessive daytime sleepiness, and the impact of sleepiness on cognitive function, vocational performance, safety, and driving. Served on numerous committees and task forces of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the AASM board of directors.
