Family Medicine/Family Practice, Geriatric Medicine - I have experience in adult primary care with a focus on geriatrics as well as home-based primary and palliative care. I am comfortable with chronic disease and acute care management in medically complex patients. I currently serve as associate medical director. I lead our regional interdisciplinary team. I collaborate with advanced practice providers who are performing in-home palliative care, addressing transitions of care, and conducting goals of care/advanced care planning discussions. We have strong focus on reducing hospital readmissions and timely transitions to hospice.

Geriatric Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Internal Medicine - I have served as medical director of a number of hospices and am quite knowledgeable about hospice rules and regulations. I am currently working as the medical director of a geriatric clinic where I split my time between patient care and administrative work. Throughout my career I have served on a number of physician review boards and have had nurse practitioners and physicians reporting to me for the last 25 years. This oversight includes reviewing their documentation, among other things.

Expert witness in Internal Medicine, Rheumatology, and Geriatrics for plaintiff or defense. Nationwide assignments.
